Working with Virgin Trains and train manufacturer, Alstom, the Watermark team helped plan and organise launches at various stages of the ground breaking tilting Pendelinos manufacture. The first event was the opening of the design studio at Alstoms Birmingham facility followed by the reveal of first train shells as they arrived from Fiat Trains in Italy. The first test run of the Pendelino was revealed to the press at Alstoms Old Dalby test track. Watermarks production team designed and built a revolving auditorium on which the entire audience turned to face the track at the exact moment that the new Pendelino shot out of a tunnel accompanied by fireworks and the Red Arrows flying a low level above the train. When the trains first came into service a spectacular launch event was organised by Watermark at Euston Station attended by the Prime Minister Tony Blair.
